Extra special babies, extra special support...

ADAPT is a small charity who provide support to families with premature and poorly babies. They are based on the neonatal units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital, and give continuing support to families once they have gone home.

Having a premature or poorly baby can happen to anyone. Because everything happens so quickly and usually unexpectedly, it can leave parents feeling upset, confused,
scared and vulnerable. ADAPT is there to support families any way they can.

Sometimes families just need someone to talk to, but ADAPT may also be able to help with more practical and financial issues too.
